The cottage sits on top of the Canadian shield, perched to watch over the beautiful Missisagua lake. Two comfortably sized bedrooms. The charming cottage kitchen is equipped with a full sized fridge, stove with double ovens, double sink and a traditional family dinner table ready for a board or card game.

The cozy living room is charming and has two couches, a lazy boy, a smart 40” Roku Tv with HDMI Cord and Apple adaptor. The bedroom has a 30” TV equipped with a DVD player, HDMI Cord and an assortment of DVDs. You will be able to enjoy the full view of the bay while sitting inside relaxing.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION  

The cottage is situated on a one-acre island lot. The covered deck has stunning views overlooking Mississagua Lake and is perfect for lounging, family dinners or a board game. There is a 12 x 12 dock attached to the front rock patio.

• BBQ – there is one propane tank provided at the cottage, per rental – if the renter requires more it is their responsibility.
• Good swimming – dock for deep weed free swimming and a front swim off rock for a slower wade in entrance – water shoes not required
• Dock: 12 x 12 ft – water is 6-10 feet deep at the end of the dock depending on time of year
• The dock is large enough to hold an 18’ – 21” bowrider/pleasure/ski type boat or possibly larger
• The lake is good for water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking etc.
• Oversized paddle boat, canoe, two adult kayaks, three child size kayaks and a rowboat
• Hammock
• There are 8 cottages on the island, all lots are about 1-2 acres in size – there are neighbours through the trees however the area is spacious, and the deck is situated so there is only exposure to the lake
• Boat house will be locked and not available for use

Notes

The cottage is on an island, you are not able to drive directly to it. However, the boat ride is short and you can use the canoe, kayaks, or row boat if you need to go back and forth in between the available shuttles. There is also suitable docking for your own private boat and many rental companies in the area. If there is an emergency there are emergency provided through 911 and the local fire department.

This cottage can be rented along with Sunrise Island on Mississagua Lake as it is the same owner and the cottages are beside each other.

Rental Rates include all booking fees and taxes (if applicable)

Rates are based on maximum of 7 people

• Cleaning Service: $100 (recommended)
• Linens: King/Queen/Double $25.00, Single $15.00
• Towels: $5.00 each
• Pet Fee: No charge for first pet, $75 for each additional pet (friendly pets only)

Method of Payment:

• Interac E-Transfer (preferred method)
• Initial deposit of 50% due upon booking
• Outstanding balance + $500 damage deposit due 28 days prior to checking in
• Damage Deposit: To be refunded within 7 business days upon check-out

Weekly rentals including a Statutory Long Weekend will be calculated using a prorated weekly rate
