This charming near century old cottage is located on a small quiet bay and is the perfect place to unwind and remember what it is like to do nothing! While you may be at a cottage, special features such a fine china will make you feel you are in a lovely hotel! Our picnic kit will accompany you on a canoe ride and make for a memorable experience. Both our dining and living rooms have vaulted cathedral ceilings and our screened gazebo attached to the cottage is the perfect place to listen to the frogs and birds sing to you!

• BBQ – there are 2 propane tanks at the cottage, if one runs out, it is the renter’s responsibility to have it refilled or exchanged at earliest opportunity
• Screened gazebo attached directly to the cottage
• Firepit, free firewood, and 12 telescopic roasting sticks
• Large, private, grass /sand beach walk-in to great swimming – clear, weed free water with shallow walking out gradually to deeper
• Walk-in entry to the water is acceptable for young children or the elderly that may have mobility issues – no weeds – water shoes recommended
• Small play area for children overlooking the lake

• Dock: 4 ft x 33 ft – water is approximately 4 ft at the end of dock – varies with season and controlled by a dam

Hi Elizabeth,  we arrived around four and are just settling in.  Your cottage is just perfect!!!!!   I can’t think of a nicer place to end the summer!  Thank you for the wine, that was a lovely surprise. I just thought I would drop you a quick note to let you know how much Steve and I are enjoying the cottage.  You have such a beautiful spot here and the cottage is perfectly equipped and extremely accessible.  Our time here has certainly been the highlight of 2023.  I’m wondering how I can go about getting a copy of your cookbook?  Your recipes brought back many memories of my mother’s cottage meals.  Also we would  very much  like to rent again next year in July if you will have us for two weeks again. The cottage and its location are just perfect. The daily visit from the loons was so special! We also thoroughly enjoyed watching the plane come and go.
