On the Trent Severn Waterway – great for boating and fishing, locks are very fun to go through – visit Lock 34 Fenelon Falls
Fenelon Falls (18 km): beautiful town with scenic waterfalls, traditional Kawartha ice cream, Garnet Graham Beach Park, lots of summer attractions and festivals, especially Canada Day weekend including fireworks, boat cruises on the Kawartha Spirit boat.
