Come and enjoy spectacular swimming and boating on this large Kawartha Lake. Take in this waterfront paradise on beautiful, spring-fed Chandos Lake just over 2-hour drive from Toronto.

Make memories at this amazing, custom-built, post and beam cottage with 187 feet of northeastern waterfront with stunning sunrises. Relax on the deck, or on the large dock listening to the many loons on the lake while watching the night sky. Appreciate the privacy at this cottage including on the  dock.

There is always something happening at Shantilly’s Place Marina nearby and the local towns.

Cottage water: lake drawn with UV treatment and filter system (lake is spring-fed) – we use for washing and cooking but bring in bulk water for drinking (one full 5-gallon container included, please replace when empty)

Indoor entertainment: Smart TV in main cottage with Chromecast to stream your subscriptions, DVD player, DVD movies, PlayStation 3 with games, and board games

TV in bunkie as well (can move the DVD or Playstation between the main cottage and bunkie)

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

BBQ – there are 2 propane tanks at the cottage, if one runs out, it is the renter’s responsibility to have it refilled or exchanged at earliest opportunity

Property: Pull in at parking level with walk down to cottage entrance

Waterfront: 187 ft (actually much more as lot next door isn’t inhabited…very private)

Great swimming – clear, deep water and shallow beach – no weeds – water shoes not needed

Muskoka chairs and table and 2 benches

Dock: 20ft x 24ft with ladder into water – water is 8 ft at the end of the dock

Dock is large enough to hold a 23” bowrider/pleasure/ski type boat or possibly larger

The lake is good for motorboats, surfing, water skiing, paddle boarding, sailing, kayaking etc.
