My weekend at KC Getaway was exactly what I needed.  Located on a much smaller lake than I am used to, I was in awe of how quiet the days were – it was the epitome of relaxing. The cottage features a wonderful deck, perfect for sitting and overlooking the scene – surrounded by trees, water, and the sunshine. With just a short walk down the hill, we enjoyed our time on the dock with a paddle boat and excellent canoe which we easily took from one end of the lake to the other. The water was pristine – perfect swimming conditions.  The cabin was the perfect size for 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, a living room with 2 couches, and an eat-in kitchen. There were a variety of games and movies available to us which we took full advantage of. The listed cottage features were very accurate and easily accessible.  Our excellent host, Karen, was very friendly and readily available to answer any questions we had by email or phone.  I would absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing cottage vacation! -Chantelle W.
