We rented the cottage for a small family reunion. The property is exactly as described and Sav and Karen were awesome. We will definitely be back – thank you!! —Alan (Aug 2023)
The cottage was wonderful inside and out. So clean and had all the amenities we needed. The water was great and we loved all the different sitting areas. Two fridges was a must for our group and the 20 minutes to Port Perry was a benefit. —Janet M. (Jul 2023)
We want to thank you and the owners for an absolutely wonderful week for me and my entire family. The memories it left us with are ones we will cherish for the rest of our lives. From the first contact with you to packing up yesterday and accommodations were beyond our expectations. —Lars B. (Jul 2023)
The cottage was amazing inside and outside. Wonderful sitting areas for different times of day. Hosts left fresh cut flowers and butter tarts – very thoughtful and appreciated! Excellent cottage items: bbq, chairs, seating, lake toys, dock, kitchen well stocked, games and pool table, two fridges and beautifully manicured lawn. Amazing family week so close to Toronto and excited to go back next year! —Janet M. (Jul 2023)
Communications from the agent and cottage owner were solid. The cottage was extremely clean, and as advertised. Great views of the sunset and lake. Swimming in the lake was excellent for kids as shallow gradual water., There were sufficient toys in the shed plus some board games, a functional pool table and we enjoyed the kayaks. Outstanding deck, fantastic barbeque and 2 refrigerators for the 9 of us and dog friendly for our 2 dogs. The cottage was quite spacious and cool with ceiling fans. Neighbours were quiet, and the evenings quite serene with a lakeside wood campfire that presented no danger against some rocks. Kids saw a couple of garter snakes and a toad in the well kept flowerbeds. We would definitely revisit in the future, and received good value, and our security deposit was refunded almost immediately which is very appreciated. —Lee M. (Jul 2023)
Cottage was excellent for a large family and the waterfront perfect for younger children. Proximity to local towns were also great, with Wolf Run golf just down the road being a bonus. Our mid week stay with our children and grand children was very good. Additionally, the cottage owners, as well as yourselves, have been excellent to work with. —Blair B. (Jul. 2022)
We had a wonderful vacation at the Washago Bay cottage. The cottage itself had everything you might need, with the second fridge being particularly useful. We were also appreciative of the empty pantry cupboard in the kitchen since cupboard space to keep your own food has sometimes been lacking at other cottages. The waterfront area was lovely with the firm sand bottom and shallower water extending far out from the shoreline, making it great for kids. Several of us enjoyed paddling out in the kayaks on a few occasions. A memorable time was had by all. —Hilary B. (July 2021)
Great cottage, all the amenities, fantastic for large families. The owners provided all the instructions and details to make our stay great. Very shallow waterfront, great for lounging and small children, but not deep enough for diving or big swims. Kayaks, standup paddleboards available for our use were a lot of fun. Thanks again for a great stay! —Chris O. (July 2020)
Amazing sunsets and cottage was spotless and well equipped, the shallow clean entry on the water is perfect for little ones. —Rick B (July 2019)
The cottage is more than beautiful, the view is wonderful and the sunsets are magnificent EVERYDAY !!! There are many water toys that add more fun to the stay, the beach is quite shallow and perfect for children and the deck is very safe. The cottage is well provided, the furniture setting is well-thought and there is plenty of space for a big family or family reunion, as it was our case. Thanks so much for letting us enjoy your lovely place!!! —Bertha (June 2019).
Great location, amenities, deck, bbq, space for everyone. —Beverly F. (July 2018)
Thank you. We had a fabulous stay! The layout of the cottage and furniture was very well thoughtful out. The grounds were very well maintained and lovely. It is truly a child and senior friendly cottage. The sunsets were exquisite! Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage! —Anne-Marie (Aug. 2017)
