Miners Bay is close to all amenities – Minden, Coboconk and Haliburton are a short drive away. For an unusual movie experience, visit Highland Cinemas in Kinmount, a famous movie theatre and museum.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

• Private – trees and brush line the property, providing shade and privacy
• 7-8 parking spots on the long and narrow driveway
• Flat property – a slight slope to the waterfront, but is easy to walk

• Dock: 8’ x 16’ with a small bridge and floating raft 10’ x 10’
• Water at the end of the dock is 4 feet deep
• Water at the floating raft ranges from 6 feet – 20 feet depending on which side you are on
• Deck: 30’ x 5’ – large enough to fit both a 6 person picnic table, bbq, 6 person dining table and some folding chairs
• Waterfront: 50 feet
• Sandy beach – approx. 24 feet – clean with minimal weeds and easy access to the water
• Grassy, flat area beside the garage – perfect for outdoor games
• Great swimming – choose a sandy walk in or a shallow dive off the dock

• Floating raft allows for more water fun as it sits in deeper waters
• No weeds in main swimming area – weeds to one side of the dock and near the end of the beachfront

• Dorset (a scenic hour’s drive): lookout tower, boasts beautiful views of the Lake of Bays, perfect for picnics. Don’t feel like packing a lunch? The town has great local restaurants!

Sandy’s Shore was everything the advertisement and photos promised. The cottage was spacious and CLEAN with great seating and lovely views from the raised deck overlooking Clear Lake and the sandy beach, the long dock and the fantastic floating raft. Linens: Not offered - clients must bring their own including pillows and comforters/blankets

Extra Fees (Optional):

• Pet Fee: No charge for first pet, $75 for each additional pet
• Boat Launch: $100

• Interac E-Transfer (preferred method)
• Initial deposit of 50% due upon booking
• Outstanding balance + $500 damage deposit due 28 days prior to checking in
• Damage Deposit: To be refunded within 7 business days upon check-out
• Weekly rentals including a Statutory Long Weekend will be calculated using a prorated weekly rate
