• There are two separate lounge areas. The main floor living space is open to above and centres around the gorgeous stone wood-burning fireplace.  There is ample seating for entertaining.  There is a pool table area in addition to the TV room. The open concept design and large kitchen is perfect for a large family gathering.  The upper lounge area is another space to sit and enjoy a book or for the kids to escape to their own games area. There are two arcade games (Pinball & Pacman), shuffle board & pool/billiard table and another TV for gaming or watching movies.
• Cottage water: clean and drinkable (run through a triple filtration system) – water cooler for large water bottles (water bottles not supplied)

• The shallow entry sandy beachfront makes this cottage accessible to all and is a huge selling feature for guests traveling with small children. There are plenty of water toys and equipment to keep the whole family busy.  There are kayaks, canoes, stand up paddle boards and numerous rafts available to use.  The screened in porch offers another outdoor space to enjoy with comfortable seating and an all season hot tub that seats up to 6 adults.

• Harrington Park on Horseshoe Lake Road provides hikers a wonderful glimpse of the Minden Wild Water Preserve and rapids.
• Minden Hills has many other trails to enjoy a nice walk among great scenery.
• Snowden Park is an option for those wanting a little longer hike and options of shorter trails along the way. The wetland and forest preserve also provides winter activities such as snowshoeing and cross-country skiing, while bird watchers enjoy the many species on hand.
• Minden Wild Water Preserve: with 100 acres, this park includes campsites with picnic tables and fire pits. When you’re not canoeing or kayaking, take advantage of the three-kilometre trail system on foot or on your bike.

If linen and towel service is not requested (see below), pillows and pillow cases are included for each bed however guests need to bring all other linens (including sheets, blankets/comforter) and towels

Concierge Services:

All of the following services would be provided and organized through the cottage owners, arranged after the Cottage Rental Agreement (CRA) has been provided by Kawartha Cottage Vacations (KCV), with payments made directly to the owner not KCV.

Cleaning Service:
Mandatory fee of $600 (includes on site garbage disposal and firewood)

Sauna:
The floating sauna is a great addition to the cottage.  If you would like to use it during your stay, the kit required for use would be provided.  It includes firewood, firestarter and tools for the stove. The property manager will provide the kit at check in and instructions on how to use the sauna.

Fee: $300 – 3 night stay and $500 for 7 night stay

Pizza Oven:
There is a gas fueled pizza oven that can be provided for your use.  Instructions on how to use it would be provided at check in by the property manager.

Fee: $50 – 3 night stay and $150 for 7 night stay

Catering and Chef Services:
There are a variety of options available for your stay including prepared meals that are waiting for you in the fridge at check in.  Three course chef prepared meals can also be provided.  A server is also provided and all preparation and clean up is included. More details and pricing would be provided.

Mobile Spa Services:
A variety of on site spa services can be arranged. More details and pricing would be provided.

Water Equipment Rentals:
A variety of non-motorized water equipment is provided.  If you’d like to rent motorized equipment, delivery can be arranged.  More details and pricing would be provided.

Method of Payment:

• Interac E-Transfer (preferred method)
• Initial deposit of 50% due upon booking
• Outstanding balance + $1500 damage deposit due 28 days prior to checking in.
• Damage Deposit: To be refunded within 7 business days upon check-out

Weekly rentals including a Statutory Long Weekend will be calculated using a prorated weekly rate
