INTERIOR DESCRIPTION

Built in 2022, this lakehouse combines the benefits of new design and amenities with thoughtful nods to the past.  It’s beautifully furnished and functional, with lots of places for your group to spread out.  Design features include a stone gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, comfortable sunroom featuring large windows that let in plenty of light and provide a great view of the lake, massive deck with gazebo, large live-edge oak island built from a tree harvested from the property and a wall made from cedar planks reclaimed from the original cottage.

Main Level:

• Bedroom #1: primary with queen bed

Upper Level:

• Bedroom #2: queen bed
• Bedroom #3: 2 sets of twin bunk beds (sleeps 4)
• Bedroom #4: upstairs large multi-purpose room: pull out sofa (double size), 1 queen airbed, 1 twin airbed, and extra twin mattress (note: this room is open to the upstairs and does not have a door)

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION  

• 4 parking spots
• BBQ  – charcoal and propane options – there are 2 propane tanks at the cottage, if one runs out, it is the renter’s responsibility to have it refilled or exchanged at earliest opportunity
• Flat level waterfront (driveway slopes down)
• Child/elderly friendly
• Waterfront: 110 ft
• Beautiful wade-in waterfront with good swimming, fishing, and watersports – walk in entry with sand bottom and some rocks here and there –  acceptable for young children or the elderly that may have mobility issues
• Raft in the middle of the bay for people to use
• Some weeds in the summer – water shoes recommended
• Dock: L-shaped 20 long with 10 foot side
• Water at end of dock is about 3 ft – safe for diving off the dock – water in the bay is up to 12 ft depending on location
• Dock is large enough to hold an 18’ – 21” bowrider/pleasure/ski type boat
• The lake good for motorboats, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking etc.

• The lakehouse is located just a 5-min. drive or 15-min. walk from downtown Fenelon Falls, on a private bay on Sturgeon Lake.  In summer, Fenelon Falls is known for it’s waterfalls and lock system, great fishing, watersports, and the Victoria Rail Trail for walking, ATVs and snowmobiling. There’s shopping and plenty of restaurants, and Eganridge Golf Resort is only 15 mins. away.
• On the Trent Severn Waterway – great for boating and fishing, locks are very fun to go through – visit Lock 34 Fenelon Falls
• Fenelon Falls (2 km): beautiful town with scenic waterfalls, traditional Kawartha ice cream, Garnet Graham Beach Park, lots of summer attractions and festivals, especially Canada Day weekend including fireworks, boat cruises on the Kawartha Spirit boat.
• Garnet Graham Beach Park (3 km)
• Victoria Rail Trail (19 km) – perfect for walking, hiking, cycling

• Interac E-Transfer (preferred method)
• Initial deposit of 50% due upon booking
• Outstanding balance + $2000 damage deposit due 28 days prior to checking in
• Damage Deposit: To be refunded within 7 business days upon check-out

Weekly rentals including a Statutory Long Weekend will be calculated using a prorated weekly
