Waterfront: 140 ft + 5.5 acres of forest, with a ridge to climb

Excellent swimming – water in bay almost always calm, always much calmer than in main body of lake

Walk-in entry to the water acceptable for young children or the elderly that may have mobility issues – sandy bottom with some rocks – no weeds in the swimming area

Dock: 20.3 ft x 10 ft, plus 3 sections, each 16 ft x 6.3 ft – has a ladder for exiting – water is 9 -10 ft deep at the end of your dock

Dock is large enough to hold an 18’ – 21” bowrider/pleasure/ski type boat or possibly larger

The lake is good for motorboats, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking etc,

16-foot canoe, fishing kayak and paddle boat

Deck: 20 ft x12 ft

Very private – one neighbour is not visible at all, the other just visible through the trees

View the lake from the deck through a “window” in the trees

Cottage faces directly east


Fishing on the lake, beautiful waterfalls in the region, festivals, and small towns to visit including ice cream shops in Apsley and on Highway 28.

Apsley (13 km): a bustling summer community with lots of ongoing activities throughout the year, grocery store, hardware, LCBO, restaurants, ice cream

Chandos Lake Property Owners’ Association offers a variety of activities all summer for families – kids’ fishing derby, regatta, corn-and-wiener roast, fireworks on July 1

Provincial Parks: Petroglyphs, Kawartha Highlands, Silent Lake

Gut Conservation Area: walking trails, spectacular views of the gorge

Damage Deposit: To be refunded within 7 business days upon check-out
