This cottage is situated on a beautiful lake, with stunning views. We had everything we needed for a perfect week. The cottage is clean, cozy and ideal for a family of four. The satellite was not working but we did manage to connect with Bell and they were extremely helpful. We look forward to renting again. —Cathy G. (July 2021)
Check in was easy. The place was immaculate! So clean and tidy! We had a great kitchen to cook Thanksgiving dinner in. The view is just breath taking. The trails and surrounding area were wonderful to explore. We were able to use the kayaks that were supplied, even tho the water level was low. We had a fabulous time on the lake. Our puppy came to stay as well. We had debated leaving her, but we are so glad we brought her. It was so fun watching her play in the leaves and investigate all the smells. The owners are so kind, very easy to reach, responded quickly to questions and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend a stay here! —Sarah A. (Oct. 2020)
My family and I had an awesome stay at Kawagama and it was everything we were looking for and more. The owner was always in contact with us and was very helpful, she had everything we needed to have a great time. The property is absolutely beautiful, we canoed and kayaked and it was such a nice lake. It was great for biking and walking as well. —Aidee R. (Sept 2020)
We just returned from a week at this cottage with 4 adults and 3 children. Karen’s cottage is a little piece of paradise. It is exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and convenient. There are board games available and she even left some water toys/activities for us to enjoy. The owner’s communication throughout our stay was amazing and very much appreciated. We were renting a boat and had a few questions. She made sure we had all the information we needed. One of the main things our group commented on was the difference between an owner occupied cottage and one that is used primarily as a rental. You can tell this cottage is occupied by the owner and kept in immaculate condition. We appreciated the hospitality and plan to return. —John L. (Aug. 2020)
We had the pleasure to stay at the beautiful Kawagama lake Cottage. Our family of 4 and our dog had a wonderful time, the place was just amazing. Huge big lake, very comfortable cottage with everything you need to enjoy a great vacation. Kayaks, bikes, etc… Everything was perfect and our host was very helpful and she even left us some smores for the kids and a beautiful bouquet of floors. Thank you and hopefully we will have the chance to go back. —Richard A. (Aug. 2020)
We had a truly incredible week at Kawagama Lake Cottage in July. The cottage had everything we needed and more. The cottage is very nicely finished, was super clean and perfect for a week away to truly disconnect and fully immerse in the quintessential Canadian cottage experience. We made full use of the kayaks, Canoe and the lawn games provided…lots of fun. We snorkelled out to the sandbar every day…the water is shallow and clear. Fishing from the sandbar at night whislt watching the stunning sunsets. Beautiful lake, awesome cottage….exactly what we needed. —Leigh P. (July 2020)
Cottage was very clean, and well equip. Friendly neighbours and great views on the bay from all windows. —Patricia L. (Aug. 2019)
We had a wonderful time at your cozy cottage! We enjoyed hotdogs and s’mores on the campfire, paddling to the sandbar and games after dinner! All the best things required for a relaxing week were provided, thank you so much! —Sam D. (Aug. 2019)
Kawagama Lake Cottage was an absolutely perfect site for our long weekend getaway. Everything you are looking for is here in this modern cottage. We loved kayaking out to the sand ‘beach’, barbeque on the deck. —Matthew R. (Aug. 2019)
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The sunshine and sunsets were exceptional, the water was warm and the cottage fit all our needs/desires perfectly. We loved that the owners are dog people and said yes to our two dogs! 🙂 One fur baby loves the water (swimmer extraordinaire) and dives off the dock while the other needs quite a bit of coaxing and the ability to wade/walk in. The sandbar was great and a lot of fun but getting everyone and dog there was a bit of a challenge, we would have been delighted if the property had a walk-in from the cottage’s shoreline. —Jolanta F.(July 2019)
My family and I stayed at the Kawagama Lake Cottage and had a fantastic week nestled in nature. The cottage is very well kept and clean with lovely views of the lake. Having access to the kayaks and canoe were especially nice to enjoy evening sunsets and explorations around the lake. Our week was unfortunately cut short by a few days due to a local power/water outage, however, the cottage owner Karen was quite accommodating despite the unforeseen circumstances. She had a friendly neighbour come over and check in on us and offer power from his generator which was extremely helpful. Overall, the cottage has all the necessary amenities and is well looked after and kept. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future. —Vanessa S. (Sept. 2018)
