Our family really enjoyed the vacation both the cottage and the lake. In particular the main kitchen/dining and living areas provided everything we needed and there was ample space for all of our family group to undertake different activities. Similarly the open deck gave us all the space we needed with great views. The only negative was that the bedrooms were quite snug and in most cases lacked any closets or dressers which meant living out of suitcases. Also had to haul all of our bedding – so for the first time in 20 years of cottage rental we had to bring blankets/duvets and pillows as well as the usual linens. Maybe we have just been lucky. Nevertheless we all were entranced by the illuminated firepit. When it was really dark it was like some magic dell. Even the smores tasted better. The other bonus was the little brewery/pub across the lake from the cottage. —Alan W. (Aug 2024)

This cottage was perfect for 2 families. Lot’s of space inside and out. Very clean and well maintained. Was exactly as advertised on the cottage website. Close to town for last minute things to grab from store. Lake was great. Well marked and having a marina was very useful. Staff at marina were very pleasant and helpful. Cottage owner was very nice. Communication was instant. Only issue was gaining access into cottage. Just not tech savvy for punch pad….. aside from that we never had to reach out to owner as cottage was great. Our family of 6 adults and 3 children ( ages 1 – 4) had a wonderful time at the Belmont Lake cottage. The cottage was a good size for our group, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the main level, with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the lower level. There is a large dinner table on the main level we could all sit at. The kitchen was large and well equipped. On the main level there is a large deck with BBQ, dining area, and access to the lake. The lower level is a walk out to the large lawn, beach area and lake. The beach area and sandy bottom entry to the lake was well used by the grandchildren. The fixed dock was perfect for the little ones, they caught many small fish. The fire ban lifted and our on last night we were able to have a fire and roast marshmallows.  —Marion S (Jul 2023)

Nice and modern cottage with a fabulous waterfront, ideal for swimming, water activities and fishing. Great fire pit, flat property, and nice deck with spectacular views of Belmont Lake. Kitchen is stocked with amenities and lower level has table tennis, pool table and darts for enjoyment. Beds were comfortable. Our family of 6 adults, 4 kids and dogs had a great time and host was very responsive and helpful. Town with grocery, LCBO, etc. only 15 minutes away max. Our stay at Belmont Lake was perfect. It was spacious, clean and welcoming, very well set up for a large group. The lake was warm, the dock was great and the beach was absolutely invaluable to our small toddlers. Booking was easy and straightforward, and the deposit was returned within 48 hours, as promised. • Pet Fee: No charge for first pet, $75 for each additional pet (small dogs only-no cats)

• Interac E-Transfer (preferred method)
• Initial deposit of 50% due upon booking
• Outstanding balance + $1500 damage deposit due 28 days prior to checking in
• Damage Deposit: To be refunded within 7 business days upon check-out

Weekly rentals including a Statutory Long Weekend will be calculated using a prorated weekly rate
