You might choose to relax in the spacious living room with cathedral ceiling overhead and floor to ceiling windows for a stunning view of nature including beautiful Chandos Lake. Or you might prefer being outdoors on the large deck outfitted with seating to watch the lake and listen to nature. Water activities include great swimming, fishing, boating and kayaking. Bask under the towering pines and beautiful rocky elevated view. The property has a terrific grass area that includes a horse shoe pit and badminton. If you prefer venturing further on land, there is an excellent cottage road for walking and biking. This beautiful property is the place for making your cottage memories on one of Kawartha’s largest and finest lakes.

TESTIMONIAL

I have rented cottages primarily in the Kawarthas for over 8 years now. This was the best so far. Our large family of 12 from 3 yrs to 71 years old, found everything we needed for an amazing week at ‘Breathtaking Chandos’. The entire cottage is so beautifully kept and offered us space galore! The kitchen was stocked with utensils, cookware and dishes all in top shape. Believe me that’s not always the case! At first I thought the stairs down to the water would be daunting for the young ones, but actually all of us managed quite well. The yoga studio was a terrific extra space for all of us, with a view of the lake. I particularly loved all of the equipment for the water sports. Kayaks, paddleboards, and a canoe. A few of us could get out and paddle around together in the quiet bay and not to miss mentioning how clear the water was of weeds. Finally, a lake I could swim in the bay, as far as I liked, it was heavenly. The older 10 year olds had so much fun swimming to the dock a little further out in the bay and jumping into the deep water. This was an absolutely stunning cottage and the experience could not have been better, the owners were lovely, communicative hosts and the cottage was in perfect clean condition. The cottage had everything we could need and more. The pictures speak for themselves. The cottage was very clean and we felt comfortable and safe staying there given the current Covid situation. We didn’t think it was possible, but the reality was even better than the photos! We had such a wonderful time, the house is beautiful, the grounds are stunning, the walks in the neighbourhood were relaxing, the neighbours were more than friendly, etc. I would highly recommend Cindy’s place to anyone seeking a getaway. Stunning property with everything you need for a fun retreat with family or friends. The cottage is spacious, impeccably designed and decorated and on beautiful Chandos Lake. This cottage was beautiful inside and out! Very clean and stylish. We had a great time relaxing on the dock enjoying the views on the lake. The cottage was located in a little bay which was perfect for swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking. This was a great place to go to relax with family and friends. • Initial deposit of 50% due upon booking
• Outstanding balance + $1,500 damage deposit due 28 days prior to checking in
• Damage Deposit: To be refunded within 7 business days upon check-out.

Weekly rentals including a Statutory Long Weekend will be calculated using a prorated weekly rate.
