TESTIMONIALS

We spent extremely relaxing days in this unique cottage/property.  You instantly feel the owners love for art and interior design upon entering. The kitchen with view into the garden and lake is equipped with everything you need. Cooking and BBQing here is fun. The Gazebo is a romantic place to enjoy the beautiful sunsets and evenings. Lakefield with an artisanal bakery, a high end butcher store and Foodland is only a 4 min drive away. The Leahy farm stand for organic produce is 6 min away. We will for sure book this cottage again. Katja H. (Jun 2023)

The property itself was immaculate and well-maintained. The cottage exuded a cozy charm with an open-concept layout. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The well-appointed kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals, and the outdoor grill provided the perfect opportunity for barbecues and al fresco dining. The highlight of the property, however, was the outdoor space. Each evening, I was treated to spectacular sunsets that painted the sky with vibrant hues of orange and pink, creating a picture-perfect backdrop for relaxation and tranquility. The expansive deck overlooking the lake was the ideal spot to unwind and take in the stunning vistas. The private dock was an added bonus, allowing easy access to the lake for fishing, kayaking, swimming, and boating. I look forward to returning to this little piece of paradise in the future. I have been guest of this property on Katchewanooka Lake a number of times.  It probably has the best sunsets in all of Ontario. The facilities are top of class, and the interior of the main cottage is warm and engaging, and rings of real Ontario Cottage Country spirit.  Just being there makes you feel part of something very unique.  The furnishings and main room are spectacular, and you feel special just walking in the front door. The gazebo is fabulous for outdoor dining, and the office bunkie great for doing some remote work, with very special surroundings.  Productivity has a new feel! The guest bunkie is great for guests or kids that would like their own space, and the waterfront is inviting and swimmable. This is a great spot for getting away from the city, either for a romantic interlude, or time with family and friends.  I can’t recommend this property highly enough, and if you are serious about an Ontario cottage vacation, do not miss this one-of-a-kind opportunity. —Robert G.
