Clearwater Cottage has been a place for building beautiful memories since 1962.  Over the years much love has gone into the layout, both inside and out, allowing for warm gatherings, and enough space to find peaceful solace.  Highlights include; beautiful sunset views directly across the lake,  property slopes towards lake making for beautiful views from the oversized upper deck with glass railings, expansive views of the lake from 3 bedrooms (don’t even lift your head from the pillow), 2 living rooms and 2 kitchens.  Beautiful Stone-clad woodstove on lower level plus additional wood stove upstairs.

The lake will be your big screen TV!  Any stress can be calmed just be glancing towards the water.  The lake gets deep gradually making it perfect for tossing a ball or for kids learing to swim.  The lower level is brand new with a beautiful kitchen with a quartz island, living room with beautiful Muskoka stone wood stove and 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (2023) and the upper level, which was the existing cottage, has been updated (bathroom, living room and kitchenette in 2023), but still has some of the “old cottage charm”.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

• Small sandy beach (depending on water level) and sandy bottom directly in front of deck on water
• Wood stairs down to the water with a railing – is acceptable for young children or the elderly that may have mobility issues
• No weeds in swimming area but some weeds around swimming area
• Water shoes not required – use to due personal preference
• Swim raft with ladder for exiting – perfect for deep dives at approx. 10 ft deep and Maui Mat
• 20’ long (10’ wide) floating dock with 8 ft ramp connecting it to the shore for a total of 28’ from the shore – dock is large enough to hold an 18’ – 21” bowrider/pleasure/ski type boat or possibly larger

Great cottage for large groups. Nice walkout outdoor living space, large upper walkout deck, plenty of seating for everyone. Nice lakeside deck and dock with shallow sandy entry to lake. Lots of water toys to have fun by the dock. Two kitchens are very convenient, well appointed in newly renovated area. Good privacy. This is a beautifully renovated cottage, that is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house has a lovely view of the lake, which can be enjoyed from many decks and patios. Tamara is a fantastic host,who went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after. The lake is clean, and the entry into the water is shallow so that even the little ones in our group were able to wade in on their own. There is a Maui mat and a fixed diving platform for the older kids, and lots of lake toys to play with. I highly recommend this property. —Susan D (Jul 2024)
