Everything from booking to staying was smooth. All questions were answered and I was never left feeling that I couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Cottage was comfortable and clean. No issues and we would stay again. —Mike B. (Sep 2024)
5 of us stayed here for a week at the end of August ’23. We’ve been renting Kawartha cottages for over a decade and this one was more or less perfect. Lots of perks like a weedless stone bottom entry for swimmers right beside the non-floating sturdy dock, a dockside patio table & umbrella, lots of parking space and a ton of fairly flat grass space to use at the front and the dock side of the cottage. (Hammocks, bocce balls, badminton nets, cornhole or croquet, bring it). The cottage interior is uniquely shaped and suited us quite well. Perfectly drinkable well water from all taps. We didn’t require any sleepers in the spacious rustic bunkie, but it’s usable. The waterside firepit is perfectly sized and positioned. The nearby helpful person you’ll meet upon arrival sells firewood (optional) at an exceptional price, that’s good; and I mean REALLY good! Dry as a BONE. The best I’ve ever bought at a cottage hands down. A ton of it stacked for you on premises. We used it every night and couldn’t burn it all. Enjoy your stay! —Paul & Barb (Aug 2023)
We loved our time at Clear Path. The cottage is comfortable, the property is beautiful and the swimming was amazing. The owners were easy to contact and very helpful. We would definitely choose to return. —Julie M. (Jul/Aug 2023)
We had a very good time at the cottage during the Thanksgiving long weekend. —Yulan (Oct 2022)
We had a great time at this cottage, the location is convenient as it’s not a far drive from Toronto. The cottage was big enough to accommodate our group comfortably. We spent a lot of time outdoors fishing, hiking and by the camp fire. The yard space was really big so the kids had a lot of space to run around. I would definitely stay at this cottage again. —Stan N. (Oct. 2020)
We had an amazing stay at Clear Path Cottage. Beautiful surroundings, great amenities and most of all the best fire pit by the lake (spent most of the time there!) —Anna M. (Sept 2020)

The property was great for our dog and the flat landscape was perfect for my dad who uses a walker.— Heidi C. (Aug. 2019)
Great cottage, beautiful lake, could use a little larger dock.—Patty C.(July 2019)
Our family, including two dogs, thoroughly enjoyed or two week stay. —Derek L. (July 2018)
I booked Clear Path cottage for 1 week this past August for my family travelling here from United Kingdom who had never experienced cottage country before. We were very satisfied with out stay, the cottage was perfect, a good size, could accommodate everyone to seep comfortably and we had a large lawn area and could walk straight into the water without several steps to walk down. The cottage was clean and well equipped and I would definitely stay here again. —Lesley K. (Aug. 2016)
Our experience at Clear Path Cottage was incredible! The location was convenient as we were in front of the lake and 4k away from local restaurants. About the cottage itself, it was spacious and a country home. We used the paddle boat (note from KCV: no longer available) to explore our surroundings. But most of all, the view was spectacular. —Mariana M. (Sept. 2016)
