• The cottage is 6 minutes from Lakefield which hosts the Jazz Festival, Literary Festival, Annual Fair and participates in the Studio Tour. Lakefield has many unique stores, restaurants and all the necessities such as groceries and LCBO. Lakefield also has a fantastic butcher shop, gourmet vegetable store, gourmet cafe and an upscale bakery, bookstore and a marina, making it a car or boat destination. 
• The area is ideal for cyclists, golfers, boaters, has walking trails and many nearby attractions including the Petroglyphs Park, Warsaw Caves and a berry farm.
