Enjoy a retreat at this comfortable and well-appointed cottage. Relax on the deck taking in the magnificent hilltop view of Rice Lake. Spend time exploring the lake in the kayak or paddleboat, enjoy casual rallying on tennis court, a game of basketball or ball hockey. Relish in a much-needed dip on hot days in the recently renovated (2020) inground swimming pool. At night enjoy the amazing sunsets, gather around the beautiful new firepit (2021) or the indoor fireplace recounting the events of the day. 

Appreciate the surrounding land for lovely country walks on common property or cycling in the rolling hill countryside.  

Close to amenities and activities, take some time for golfing, forest mountain biking, hiking or exploring nearby pretty towns for shopping and dining.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION 

Private tennis court, badminton + basketball hoop & ball, ball hockey nets & equipment. The cracks have been professionally filled in, and the net is in good shape and the court is very playable. A basketball, and 4 ball hockey sticks, balls, and a special puck are available with the rental. The place is ideal for active living and family activities as well as for lovely rest and relaxation.

Beautiful swimming pool – the best swimming is in this newly renovated, clean, large swimming pool – not heated – possibly some sharing with owner’s family

New dock (2021) at lake with kayak and paddleboard for your enjoyment

Deck: 32 ft x 11 ft – rebuilt in 2021 – provides an amazing view of the lake and gorgeous sunsets

New (2021) firepit (firewood supplied) with comfortable Muskoka chair seating

Property is quite flat with a hill leading up to the parking lot and the pool 

Parking spots: 2 (more can be available for special occasions) 

Napoleon propane barbecue

Walk the new path (2022), going through the small forest, to the lake (approx a 5 minute walk) and dock or take the road (15 minute walk or 5 minute drive)

Water shoes suggested for the lakefront access 

Guests are encouraged to bring their own non-motor boats or small motor fishing boat 12 ft maximum length 

Powerboats can be kept at nearby Lang’s Resort

No ATVs or dirt bikes allowed to be used on the property

Fairly private having its own front lawn and nice hammock area
