- On Balsam Lake there are 3 marinas, 2 located in Rosedale. Balsam Lake Provincial Park is located on the north part of the lake along with the town of Coboconk at its most northern tip. Balsam Lake has the highest altitude of the Trent-Severn Waterway where many lakes are connected by a series of locks. It is a favourite stop amongst boaters due to its large size and good swimming.
