This whistler chalet inspired cottage boasts gorgeous cathedral ceilings with a walk out patio to private deck providing the ultimate indoor outdoor cottage experience. This charming rustic cottage sleeps eight, offering two bedrooms with queen size beds, a kid friendly loft that sleeps two and its own private bunkie that sleeps two. It also offers a fully equipped kitchen and three-piece bath and cozy fireplace. Enjoy beautiful sunsets or some of the best fishing the Kawarthas has to offer on your own private dock.

If you’re looking for an adventure you can take a hike on the Victoria rail trail or venture into the picturesque town of Fenelon Falls for some sight seeing, shopping & dining. This cottage is the perfect spot to spend time with friends and family away from the hustle and bustle.

Includes access to the resorts private boat launch and private beach on the sandbar, where you can walk out for what seems like miles in waist deep water.

Here you will find a scenic and relaxed destination that is minutes from downtown Fenelon Falls and Lock 34 on the Trent Severn Waterway. The sandbar is just mere steps away from our shoreline, with its sandy bottom it is a perfect location for swimming and floating.

Sunsets here are nothing less than spectacular, and the sunrise with a morning coffee is the perfect way to start any day!

The Victoria Rail Trail runs through the property and is used all year round for hiking, biking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling and ATVing.

Don’t forget to bring your fishing gear as Cameron Lake boasts some of the best fishing in the Kawartha Lakes, including small and large-mouth bass, walleye, northern pike and muskie.

The resort, provides a scenic and relaxing environment where you can enjoy many activities from swimming, catching some rays on your sun deck, enjoying an outdoor or barbequed meal at your own private dining area, bird watching, hiking the beautiful trails, sitting around your private campfire, star gazing, and to top it all off there’s a spa on site where you can book a relaxing treatment to help you look and feel your best. You can also rent a boat at the local marina or use our private boat launch to launch your own.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION  

• BBQ – there are 2 propane tanks at the cottage, if one runs out, it is the renter’s responsibility to have it refilled or exchanged at earliest opportunity

• Great swimming – weedless sand bottom, private sandbar
• The walk-in entry to the water is acceptable for young children or the elderly that may have mobility issues – water shoes are recommend, small rocks at shore, but sandy bottom off end of docks and sandbar
• No weeds in the swimming area
• Large dock: can hold most 21 ft boats easily maybe a bit larger depending on type of boat and time of year – dock has a ladder for exiting – depending on the time of the year water depth ranges from approximately 4-6 ft
• The lake is good for motorboats, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking etc.

ACTIVITIES NEARBY

• Just mere steps from downtown Fenelon Falls, Lock 34 first opened in 1922 to connect Lake Ontario and Georgian Bay. Now maintained and operated by Parks Canada this historic lock system is a popular summer destination for recreational boaters, and kayakers and a home to the many local residents. As one of the highest locks on the Trent Severn Waterway watching the boats go up and down the lock system is worth checking out. You’ll usually find lots of visitors and people fishing here. The beautiful falls can be found on the lower side of the lock station. You can enjoy this view from The Locker at the Falls restaurant and patio.
