Enjoy this relaxing summer retreat for families and/or friends nestled in the rocks, on a bay leading out to Lower Buckhorn Lake through a beautiful, scenic rock passageway.  Enjoy the large, private deck with BBQ, picnic table with umbrella and outdoor furniture over looking the gardens, firepit, storage shed, boathouse and bay.

Inside the bungalow you will find clean new bedrooms, mattresses, bathroom with shower, large table for eating/games/cards, comfortable living room and a kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, toaster, blender, kettle, and pretty much anything you would require to make the master feast or just a quick sandwich!

The cottage is situated on a beautiful, winding road wonderful for taking long walks and Wolf Island Provincial Park is at the end of the street!  Pride of Ownership is Apparent!

Cottage water: water from lake with UV filter  – can be used for showering/washing dishes; water cooler provided to use for drinking/cooking/coffee, etc. (there are 2 water jugs at the cottage, if one runs out, it is the renter’s responsibility to have it refilled or exchanged at earliest opportunity, so no one runs out of drinking water at any time)

Indoor entertainment: TV, satellite, board games, cards, unique crib board

BBQ – there are 2 propane tanks at the cottage, if one runs out, it is the renter’s responsibility to have it refilled or exchanged at earliest opportunity

Property is partially flat / partially rock

Mostly child/elderly friendly with some stairs (deck has gates that lock)

Waterfront: 70 ft

Fair to poor swimming depending on time of year – water shoes recommended

Sandy type beach and sand play area for children to play near the water

Better swimming out on the lake

Sandy Lake Beach is 15km

Dock: 20 ft long x 3 ft wide – water varies from 3 to 4 ft at the end of your dock

Dock is large enough to hold an 18’ – 21” bowrider/pleasure/ski type boat (boat should not be very deep)

The lake is good for motorboats, water skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking etc.

Mid & High Season:
Check in: Saturday 3 pm
Check out: Saturday 11 am

Cleaning Service: Not offered at this cottage
Linens & towels to be brought by rental clients (pillows, bed cover/comforter provided)
Linens ($25/set) and towels ($5 ea.) only available for out of country guests
Pet Fee: 1 dog max upon discussion with owner - no fee

Method of Payment:
Interac E-Transfer (preferred method)
Initial deposit of 50% due upon booking
Outstanding balance + $1000 damage deposit due 28 days prior to checking in
Damage Deposit: To be refunded within 7 business days upon check-out

Weekly rentals including a Statutory Long Weekend will be calculated using a prorated weekly rate
