EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION

This cottage has a hilltop lake view with 165 feet of waterfront. Since it is on a high hilltop and surrounded by forest, it has superbly tranquil treetop and lake views. A mulch pathway takes you down to the dock area where you can enjoy the beautiful private dock and a small sandy area outfitted with chairs overlooking the lake. There are also two marinas a short drive away for boat rentals or boat launching of your own watercraft. There is a fire pit and chairs available for use. Please bring your own firewood.

Amazing views, well appointed cottage with all the comforts of home! We hosted our annual ice fishing trip up at this cottage and it was amazing. The views from the cottage, especially from the second floor balcony were spectacular! It was incredibly comfortable, the kitchen was very well appointed (and now has a vegetable roasting basket for the BBQ I forgot, haha). It was -33 on Sunday morning when we woke up and being outside listening to the trees contract from the cold was nothing short of amazing. Lion’s Lookout is an ABSOLUTE gem. The home is something out of a magazine and the water is as clear as it can get. The owner is also super involved in ensuring that his guests have a wonderful time and was kind enough to not only ask for feedback but also follow through with our suggestions and get them done!
