It is air conditioned with the option of ceiling fans. Whatever the weather, enjoy lake views from the main floor sun porch or the deck. Water activities include time at the waterfront on the sandy beach, swimming, fishing, boating and kayaking. For evening relaxation, settle in at the fire pit close by the water and marvel at the night sky while taking in the night sounds of nature.

Cottage water: from well, tested yearly – potable – large groups/families should be more careful especially regarding taking showers and or any heavy use of water as the well may run dry with overuse.  Please be careful with water usage. There will be no problem with the well as long as large families/groups use water much more carefully than they do in the city!

The cottage was very large and well stocked. We had plenty of space! We loved using the kayaks and canoe. The fire pit was great with spectacular views of the lake. It was a very short walk to the ice cream shop 🙂 We do wish the swimming was better as there was too much seaweed/algae for us, but the beach 5 minutes away made up for that. —Kristina (July 2022)

 

Our second time staying here and we had a wonderful time again. The cottage is great with lots of room and things to do. The hot tub is so relaxing too. The owners are always available for any questions but not intrusive. The lake is great for kayaking, sup’s, exploring islands, and any watersports. Fishing is so so as most of Ontario lakes now but we did not too bad with lots of big rock bass, perch, sunfish and some nice largemouth and smallmouth bass. Highly recommend.  —Robin B. The cottage and property is beautiful and private. The hot tub was easily accessible and lovely. Lots of kayaks and canoes. Lovely little beach area for kids. Our week here was amazing. Lots of room for adults and young children, inside and out. We had 8 adults and 3 young children. Very safe and lots of grass to play on. We enjoyed the boating, canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking – they had everything there and in good shape. The lake was great for fishing or just cruising. We rented a pontoon boat for the week so could tour around to sandbar for afternoon, Crowe’s landing for ice cream and viewing the cottages.  We would highly recommend staying here and plan to return. —Susan V.
