Outdoor fire pit and also indoor wood fireplace available, for cozy winter nights. Community Centre located next to the property (30 second short walk through the forest) to tennis courts, baseball diamond, soccer, basketball hoop and kids’ playground. Stoney Lake is located nearby with boat launching (6 km drive) and Quarry Bay Beach (9 km) which is excellent for kids and is located towards Petroglyphs Park.

The cottage is an oasis of peace and quiet, where you can enjoy nature, spending time outdoors and on the nearby lakes or Provincial Parks, and at the end of the day to enjoy time with your family and kids. Also, senior couples can spend time together, enjoying the outdoors and indoor features of the cottage.

This is a superb getaway place! Beautiful cottage, excellent location. Very clean and well maintained with a great layout, two of bedrooms were on the main floor which was great for the grandparents. The kitchen is massive and has everything you need and more. There is even a fireplace in the living room if it gets a bit chilly! Our group of 10 ( including 3 kids) spend the first week of July here, so peaceful and quiet but close to all amenities.  Two minutes away from beautiful Stoney Lake, where we went fishing and swam at the stumps in the middle of the lake. A short drive to the “The Teaching Rocks” to see all the Petroglyphs and great swimming and white sands at Quarry Beach. We couldn’t ask for anything more. We will be back next summer to make more wonderful memories. — Anca C.
