We spent a very enjoyable weekend at this cottage. It was very clean when we arrived and we really enjoyed the raised deck and Adirondack chairs to enjoy a coffee, tea or adult beverage . We used the canoes a lot to cruise around the lake. It is a great place to relax, swim or fish. The owner was very prompt at getting back to me with any questions I had. We found the Stoney Lake Cottage to be ideal for our multi generational family stay. It has the cottage charm so many city dwellers long for and all the modern conveniences and pleasing furniture of home. The kitchen is fully equipped, beds are comfortable, a wall of windows overlooks the lake and a huge deck with two dining/seating areas allow you to enjoy the outdoors. Entrance to the locks are right beside the cottage, protected from view by a stand of trees, so you can enjoy waving to friendly boaters without feeling you are on display. Two canoes and a paddle boat were a huge bonus, allowing us to tour around the lake, lovely islands, and over to the the nearby falls.  Kawartha Cottage Vacations and the owner were very helpful in making our rental a wonderful experience. – Nancy P.
